How to kill unstoppable Windows Services

This article describes a simple way to stop resistant services.

Solution:

1. Open  Microsoft Management Console (MMC)
   Click menu Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services
   or
   C:\Windows\system32\Services.msc
   
   
2. Double-click the relevant Service.
   Change the Service Start-Up Type to Disabled.
   
   
   
   
   
   Click Apply.
   Click OK.
   
   
3. Hit CTRL-ALT-DEL on your keyboard.
   Open Windows Task Manger.
   
   
   Perform an End Task on the relevant Service.
   
4.  Open  Microsoft Management Console (MMC)
   Double-click the relevant Service.
   Change the Service Start-Up Type to Manual.
   Click Apply.
   Click OK.
